The NERDY COMEDY Show

Halloween Sidequest

English stand-up, then the comedians argue with the room about the things that actually matter: the worst anime filler arc, whether Magic is a hobby or a financial mistake, which Hogwarts house is a red flag. Your nerdiest opinion goes on a card. Their best jokes go after it.

Costumes welcome. The best one wins a prize. Seats are limited, so book ahead or take your chances at the door like a true chaotic neutral.

Why ROBIN’s on Halloween

Zürich does Halloween in two ways: a club night that costs a week of lunches, or a flat party where you know one person and they are busy. ROBIN’s is the third way. A small bar near Central, English comedy in the back room, a DJ after, and a crowd that mostly turned up on their own too.

Half the room at our shows came alone. By the interval they are in a group. On Halloween the costumes do the introductions for you.

What to wear

Anything. A full zombie, a hat with ears, the same hoodie as always and the claim that you came as a software engineer. The show gives a prize for the best costume and the party gives a drink for the best and the worst, so there is no way to lose.

Getting there

ROBIN’s is at Zähringerstrasse 33, two minutes on foot from Central and five from the main station. Trams 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 stop at Central. The comedy is in the back room; the party takes over the whole bar.
